Stills gallery - Kingley Vale Yew Grove
Following a shoot for Lakeland I went in search of somewhere to spend a few hours on my way back up north and, after some research discovered this wonderful place. The Yews are reckoned to be around 7,000 years old and have been used by Druids for centuries as a sacred grove for ritual worship. It was a real honour to spend time amongst their wise old timbers, finding images amidst the muscular sinuous limbs and seeing faces in the trunks.
