Aimed squarely at digital photographers who have a desire to break into the world of freelance editorial and stock photography, this new one day intensive workshop will explore the various facets of freelancing.

With over fifteen years of full time experience, Jason will explain the best techniques to ensure your images have a chance of earning their keep! Beginning with an overview of the industry, the topics covered will include:

• producing saleable images
• building a stock collection
• researching the market
• approaching picture buyers
• making the sale
• stock libraries

The workshop will take place at the the Old School House, Ulnes Walton in Lancashire, with the price provisionally set at £59 per student. Places limited to just 12. Details will be confirmed soon but please email to ensure a place is provisionally reserved for you.

A bespoke course designed for just four students is planned for Sunday the 26th of August. The location based workshop will cover woodland work, solving exposure problems, working from a low viewpoint, species identification, making sense of a busy landscape and other field techniques.

Students need to own their own DSLR to be eligble for the course.
